Smart Sketch is designed with a privacy-first approach:

• Local Drawing & Project Data: All your handwritten sketches, drawings, and math notes are saved locally on your device using a local SQLite database (Drift). We do not transmit, upload, or store your drawings on any external server.
• On-Device AI Recognition: Digital ink handwriting recognition is powered by Google ML Kit. All stroke recognition and math parsing processes are performed locally on your device. Your handwritten strokes are never sent to remote cloud servers.

2. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Our application uses third-party services that may collect non-personally identifiable information used to identify your device for ad serving:

• Google AdMob: We show non-intrusive banner and interstitial advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or IDFA) to serve relevant ads. For more information, please review the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Device Permissions Required

Smart Sketch requests specific device permissions only to provide core app features:

• Photos / Storage Permission (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required only when you explicitly choose to export your canvas sketch as a high-resolution PNG image to your device photo gallery.
• Notifications Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to deliver optional local engagement reminders and notification alerts scheduled on your device.

4. Children's Privacy

Smart Sketch does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
